Kettlebell Basics Workshop
Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (PST)
Due to the frequent use of kettlebells in our boot camp and TACFIT programs we have decided to make it a priority to offer some opportunities for our members to learn how to use them better and more safely!
This two-hour workshop will cover all you need to know to start your kettlebell training safely and provide you with a turn-key program you can use at home or on the road. The goal is to create a foundational level of skill that will carry over into your workouts and provide better results. Though there will be plenty of work being done the focus is on skill development.
We will cover these fundamental movement skills:
- Front Squat
- Overhead Press
- Split Stance Row
- Around The Waist Pass
- Around Leg Pass
- Overhead Extension
- Good Morning
- Swing Progressions
If we have any time left after to play with other movements then we definitely will but the goal is to do these movements better rather than to do more movements crappy.
